Our program offers any Napa County resident or worker the ability to learn about disaster preparedness and response that'll assist the family unit, neighborhood or business operator during the first 96 hours after an earthquake, flood or major fire. This opportunity is free of charge and will allow the student to interface with Napa county emergency workers and network with other citizens before a natural or man-made disaster occurs. We offer this opportunity in an academy-style format at various locations through the county, several times throughout the calendar year free-of-charge. Sustainment #34 will be held in St. Helena on February 6th, 2010. the topic will be adult c.p.r./first aid/automatic external defibrillation certification via the American Red Cross curriculum. If you are a graduate and would like info on the class, please click here. Academy #63 will begin in Napa on February 22nd, 2010. If you like to request a flyer for the course, please click here. If you like to review an on-line copy of the highly informative U.S.G.S publication "Putting down Roots in Earthquake country", click here. Attention all past Napa Valley C.E.R.T. graduates!
